Loneliness Awareness Week: August 5th - 11th 2024
Loneliness Awareness Week is held on the first full week of August each year.
The week welcomes all organisations, thought leaders and everyone in the community to gather, discuss and better understand loneliness and the stigma it currently still carries. It’s about ensuring a dedicated time to actively attempt to reduce the stigma, and plan how to continue working on it going forward. And furthermore, to create and share ideas and opportunities for how we can all better respond and support each other when faced with times of social isolation or loneliness.
